The NC9 STÄRK MFG women’s shoulder pad 2021 is like all STÄRK products I own - a real game changer for me.
Being on the heavier side but not really tall, it was always hard to find a shoulder par that actually fit, so I ended up playing without them and accepted that I would get an injury from time to time.
When I learned that STÄRK is coming up with the MFG shoulder pad I was absolutely excited and really hoped for something that fits for people like me, too.
I like the fact that the pad in general sits close to the body and thus stays in place. Especially the close to body compression breast plates do feel great and I don’t have to adjust that part of the shoulder pad every few minutes like I had to using my old ones.
The segmented spine with adjustable lower back was also something I was absolutely curious about.
It is not too thick or heavy, adapts to my movement really well and most importantly doesn’t bother me while playing which is a huge plus.
